Somali pirates, piracy at sea The Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) issues Piracy Analysis and Warning Weekly (PAWW) Report (Horn of Africa) for the period 1-7 August 2013.
The Piracy Analysis and Warning Weekly (PAWW) Report is a review of recent Somali piracy incidents and an outlook on threats around the Horn of Africa.

(U) The Piracy Analysis and Warning Weekly (PAWW) Report is a review of recent piracy and maritime crime incidents and an outlook on threats around the Horn of Africa.2.
Horn of Africa - Piracy Events Over Past Week
(U) Pirate and maritime crime activity in African waters is at low levels. There were no vessels reported as hijacked or attacked during this one week period.A.

(U) Vessels Hijacked: No other incidents to report.
(U) Vessels Boarded: No other incidents to report.(U) Vessels Fired Upon/Attempted Boardings: No other incidents to report.1.
(U) Other Activity: The NATO Shipping Centre (NSC) issued an advisory on an area of concern in the east of the Gulf of Aden, near the Yemen and Oman border. Vessels are advised to remain vigilant while transiting through this area.
